Café français

Click on the picture to see today’s highlights.

Today was the final day of our French cafe. What a success! All classes from P1-7 have visited over the 4 days and been served with crepes and juice. Today the second group of parents were served with a delicious lunch of soupe à l’oignon and croque-monsieur. Well done to the children who worked so hard as chefs and waiters. Lots of good French was spoken! The press arrived so keep your eye on the Evening Express. We will let you know soon how much money we made and what we plan to do with it.

French Cafe

P6’s french Cafe started on Thursday. On Thursday only children came and on friday the parents came . We were only allowed to speak French. It was hard work . The waiters and chefs had to give up their lunch break but it was worth it and it was great fun! Click on the picture below to see lots of pictures.

Dean’s ghost story

Ghost story

One day my family and I went on holiday too see my aunty in Lester. We were staying in a caravan next to an old church and graveyard.

At midnight my brothers and I decided to go and explore to see if the story was real about it being haunted. As we walked through the graveyard, we could hear this strange scratching, squeaky noise behind us and every time we looked behind us the noise stopped. Suddenly my brother screamed saying there was a big white shape flying past the door Of the church. He looked at the door. “There is nothing there so don’t be stupid Lewis” said Ryan. We walked through the church door there was a big bang the door had shut “oh my god!” shouted Lewis. Ryan said “shut up Lewis we are in a church”

All of a sudden it went cold and the windows started to rattle, I was very scared. I asked Ryan if we could go back he said “no, we will just go on to the next room.” There was a big ghost, we all ran as fast as we could back to the caravan but it still chased us.

Suddenly I woke up then  my dad woke up, he looked out the window. There was nothing there but we got in the car and never came back again and a few weeks later my aunty moved house up in Aberdeen.
