Satellite Crashes To Earth
On the night of Wednesday November 10th 2007 a satellite fell from the dark sky and smashed to the ground onto the A90 outside in the town of Aberdeen.
Fifteen days earlier a rocket had accidentally hit the satellite but nobody guessed what would happen next.
It had gathered up heat while falling through the
atmosphere and by ten minutes it was covered in
flames.
55 year old Roberto Robertson had said quite a few words, “Oh it was terrible it just came out of the sky and SMASH its hit the ground covered with flames.”
No one was hurt which was very lucky because it was so serious.

We have been learning to write newspaper articles. Here is mine.
Drivers had a narrow escape when a huge satellite dish fell onto the road on the A90 in Aberdeen.
On the 18th of April 1999 a huge satellite that was attached to a space shuttle that was orbiting the earth at the time fell down to earth. A NASA astronaut who was in the space shuttle had this to say, “A Thing like this has never happened before we were using that satellite to track down unknown planets and now we can’t continue.”
The satellite managed to crash onto the front of a red car the front of the vehicle burst onto flames on impact. Luckily the fire truck arrived and the flames got put out the person inside the car managed to crawl out and had to be driven to hospital to treat a series of burns. Witness Judy price had this to say, “ I saw it come flying out of the sky and smash onto that car when I was walking my dog I phoned the fire brigade the second we saw the flames.”
